NEW GLASGOW - Davina Jean-Louise Jones-Bezenar, 7, New Glasgow, was carried by the angels, from the arms of her mommy to her eternal home, on Saturday, February 21, 2009, where she is now free. Born in Toronto, Ont., on July 29, 2001, she was a daughter of Michelle M. (McFretridge) Jones (Jessica MacDonald), New Glasgow and Rodney Bezenar (Gloria Walsh), Trenton. She was our inspiration. Davina was our sunshine. Surviving besides her parents are sisters, Lucette, MacKenzie and Ashley; brother, Mark; maternal grandparents, Theresa Bunnett (Scott Charlton), Blue Mountain; Margie (Jim) MacDonald, New Glasgow; paternal grandparents, Mary Sampson (Ken Ballie), St. Peter’s; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her great-grandmother, Lucette Bunnett; cousin, Meaghan Bona. The family will receive visitors 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel with Rev. Gail Johnson-Murdock officiating. A reception will follow at the North End Rec. Centre. Family flowers only. Donations in Davina’s memory will be gratefully accepted by her family.
