NEW GLASGOW – Darrell Wendell Wyse Dorrington, 45, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, October 17, 2013. Born in New Glasgow, he was the son of the late Thomas Edward and Marlene Jemaine (Wyse) Dorrington. He was a loving son, father, brother and uncle, who will be missed by all who loved him. Surviving besides his mother, Marlene are children, Latesha, Derrell, Nathan and their mother, June; Paige, Sidney and their mother, Tasha; siblings, Rocklyn (James), Ivan (Barbara), Joella, Myla (Carlos), Tom (Cambee), Larry (Heather); many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22 in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel with Pastor Sheila Clyke officiating. Interment will be in Abercrombie Cemetery.
