Obituary of Freda Annabell MacLean
NEW GLASGOW - Freda Annabelle MacLean, 100, Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Newbury) Innes. She was a member of Trinity United Church, New Glasgow and the Order of the Eastern Star. In earlier years she had been an avid curler and artist.
Surviving are her sister, Mildred MacDonald, Glen Haven Manor; daughter-in-law, Ann MacLean (Russell MacLellan), New Glasgow; grandchildren, Hallee MacEwan, Halifax; Robin (Dan) Bourque, Merigomish; Peter (Rosemary) Enman, New Glasgow; Dr. Natalie MacLean (Dr. John Lewis), Edmonton, Alta.; Michael MacLean (Jeannie Patterson) Toronto; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Courtney MacEwan; Jenna MacEwan Fuccillo; Steven, Sally and Christopher Bourque; Solana Maclean Lewis.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Angus MacKay; second husband, James "Jimmy" MacLean; daughter, Mildred Enman; son, Alexander "Sandy" MacLean; sisters, Violet Dickson and Marjorie Bransfield; son-in-law, Ray Enman.
At Freda's request there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
