Obituary of Brenton Melville MacDonald

WHITE HILL – Brenton Melville “Brent” MacDonald, 60, passed away peacefully, Monday, December 18, 2017, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Pictou, he was a son of Florence (Langille) MacDonald, Pictou and the late Kenny MacDonald. Brent was employed at North Nova Seafood, however the majority of his working life was spent in the woods cutting pulp. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with the love of his life, Karen. Surviving are companion, Karen O’Brien, White Hill; son, Shawn, Pictou; daughter, Alison, Ont.; three grandchildren; brothers, Alan (Kelly); Eric (Lynn); Earl (Judy); and Barry; sisters, Judy (Leonard) MacDonald; Hazel (Robbie) Fleury; all of Pictou; brothers in law, Jerry (Bev); George; sister in law, Kim; best friend, Jerome Kenny. In keeping with Brent’s wishes, his family will celebrate his life privately. Donations may be made in Brent’s memory to Pictou County SPCA.
