Dear Joanne and Family. When one goes through life they have fortune of meeting and knowing good and honest people. Colin "Duke" Coady was one of these individuals. He was a very good friend at our days at East Pictou and over the years, when we met we managed to chit chat about the goings on in the world and we always shared a laugh. We lost a good man and a friend, my thoughts , prayers and strength are with you!

Dear Joanne and Family, We were shocked and saddened to hear about Colin's passing and wanted to send you all our deepest sympathy during this very difficult time. Collin was very special to me personally but he will be missed greatly by so many people. I enjoyed working and joking with Colin at Proudfoots HH and will miss his dry sense of humour. Colin was 15 years older than me, but he was hard to keep up with most days. He was smart, loyal, friendly, kind, and loved his family deeply. Another friend described Colin as a "real gentleman", and I think this description sums him up very well. We will miss you my friend.

No matter what, uncle dukie was an honest hard working gentleman, willing to do his best to help anyone that needed it. He helped me sort through my moms (his sister) passing and navigate the daunting paper work and arrangements that needed to be made. Thank you, uncle Dukie
