Obituary of Susan Isabel Ward

MACPHERSON’S MILLS – Susan Isabel Ward, 66, MacPherson’s Mills, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by her family. Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late Oakley and Ellen Mae (Miller) Dean. She was a hard-working wife and mother who lovingly cared for her family and all in need who crossed her path. For Sue, Easter this year will be celebrated with those she loved, who have gone before her. Surviving are daughter, Charlene (Ross) Lees, Egerton; son, Shawn “Skip” (Lorie) Angevine, Bridgeville; grandchildren, James, Paige, Samuel, Phebe, Hope, Faith and Felicity; nephew, Paul (Bev) Watson, Telford; sisters, Margaret and Judy; brothers, Jack, Charlie (Sarah) and Bob (Chris); sisters-in-law, Maureen Dean, Kenzieville; Catherine Dean, New Glasgow; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James Angevine; son, Theodore “Ted” Dean; brothers, Dave and Ben; sisters-in-law, Arlene and Eva; brothers-in-law, Wilfred and Earle; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday, April 20th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, April 21st with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in MacPherson’s Mills Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations may be made in memory of Sue to her family.
