Obituary of Sylvia Helen Graham
NEW GLASGOW – Sylvia Helen Graham, 91, Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, formerly of Truro, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in the Manor.
Born in Trenton, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Percilla (MacIsaac) Graham. She was employed for many years with the Hudson Bay Restaurant in Montreal. She resided in both Toronto and Montreal for over twenty years. Sylvia had great faith and was a member of Trinity United Church, New Glasgow. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Surviving are her daughter, Doreen Graham, Beaver Brook; son, Gordon (Raylene) Graham, Big Island; grandchildren, Tammy Fortune, Westville; Angela Graham, New Glasgow; several great grandchildren;
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Minnie Velma Graham, Margurite Bousquet, Pearl Graham, a sister in infancy, Marion Gladys Graham, brother, Arthur Graham, and a grandson, Ricky Graham.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 p.m. Friday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where the funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel with Rev. Jim Webber-Cook presiding. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery.
