RIVERTON – Margaret Cecilia Silver, 73, Riverview Adult Residential Centre, Riverton, passed away, Friday, December 18, 2009 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Stellarton, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Agnes (Dykens) Silver. Margaret enjoyed walking and cleaning. Christmas was her favourite time of year. Surviving are her sisters, Vivian Rector, MacLellan’s Mountain; Emily (Hibbert) Rector, Pine Tree; brothers, Robert (Jean) Silver, Linacy; Fred (Sylvia) Silver, Sid (IMargaret) Silver, all of Ontario; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sister, Clara Silver; brother, Ralph. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 21st in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Donations may be made in her memory to the Riverview Adult Residential Centre, Riverton.
