STELLARTON – Gordon Peter “Gordie” David, 41, Upper Stewiacke, formerly of Guysborough and Stellarton entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Born in Milton, Ont., he was son of John Cecil Armsworthy, Canso and Anna Marie O’Leary, Queensport. Gordie had been employed as a CCA and cook for many years. He enjoyed farming, gardening, fishing, camping and four-wheeling. Above all he loved his family dearly. Surviving besides his parents, are his wife, Lorraine Marie (Marchand); daughters, Amber, Stellarton; Monica, at home; son, James, Vancouver, B.C.; brother, Benjamin; many relatives and friends. The family will receive visitors 1-1:50 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10 in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in Lorne Cemetery. Donations may be made in Gordie’s memory towards his children’s education.
