Obituary of Benjamin Arthur Dean

KENZIEVILLE - Benjamin Arthur “Ben” Dean, 63, Kenzieville, passed away suddenly, Thursday, September 13, 2012 at home. Born in Antigonish he was a son of the late Oakley and Ellen Mae (Miller) Dean. He worked in forestry all his working life. Ben enjoyed spending time with his family and many grandchildren. He loved dancing, telling jokes, playing crib, listening to music and going to horse pulls. Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Maureen (Delage); children, Dwayne (Amanda), Ron (Jackie), Bennie, Chris(Leona), Collin, RosaLee (Ted), Chasity and Nick; grandchildren, Michaela, Tristan, Chelsea, Gracie, Jax, Jake, Renae, Ruby, Marrissa, Emma, Jessica, Aden and Bella; sisters, Margaret (Wilfred), Judy and Sue (Denis); brothers, Jack, Charlie (Sarah) and Bob (Eva); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Dave; nephews, Bill and Artie; sister-in-law, Arlene; brother-in-law, Earl. The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow form where funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17th in the chapel with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson presiding. Family flowers only.
