Obituary of Raymond Allison MacLean

MERIGOMISH - Raymond Allison “Ray” Maclean, 82, Merigomish, formerly of Lismore passed away Sunday, January 24, 2010 at home. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late William Henry “Harry” and Annie May (Napier) MacLean. He had worked for Department of Transportation and Bunrich Trucking Limited. Surviving are step-daughter, Gwen Duggan (Larry Doyle),Lismore; step-sons, Donnie (Annie) Duggan, St. Joseph's; Lawrence (Donna)Duggan, Lismore; Ian (Kathy) Duggan, Centerville; sisters, Dorothy MacLean, New Glasgow; Doris MacLean, Montreal; brothers, Lloyd, Douglas,Delbert (Linda), all of New Glasgow; Allister, Burlington,Ont.; sister-in-law, Gussie MacLean, New Glasgow; seven step-grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Mary "Peggy” (MacDonald) (Duggan) MacLean; brother Don. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service by request. "Eternal rest grant unto Ray, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen."
