NEW GLASGOW – Robert William "Bob” Ebsary, 59, New Glasgow, passed away peacefully, Friday, October 25, 2013 at home. Born in Grimsby, Ont., he was a son of Marilyn Eleanor (Gibbs) Ebsary, River John and the late Gordon Samuel Ebsary. Bob spent many years in River John tending the family hobby farm until he met his wife, Joyce and moved to New Glasgow. He was a talented wood worker who enjoyed his craft. He was a proud employee of Summer Street Industries for many years, recently employed with Nedco. He enjoyed walks with his wife, watching western movies and reading western books. Bob possessed a delightful sense of humour and gentleness, his wonderful smile will be remembered by all who knew and loved him. Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Joyce (Bailey); sisters, Jackie, Ontario; Marilyn (Dwayne), Tatamagouche; brothers, David (Ruth) and Jim, Ontario; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his father, he was predeceased by sister, Lynn; brother, Steven; a niece and a nephew. The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27 in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28 with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Donations may be made in Bob’s memory to his family.
