Obituary of Lorna Robertson MacPhee

STELLARTON - Lorna Robertson MacPhee, 86, Stellarton, passed away peacefully in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 after a brief illness. Born at The Ponds, Pictou County, she was a daughter of the late Harold “Harry” and Florence “Flo” (Arbuckle) Turner. Surviving are her daughter, Donna (Donald) Woolaver, Antigonish; sons, Bryan, Avondale; Kelvin (Julia), Halifax; grandsons, Paul (Kirsten), Ketch Harbour; Jeff, Halifax; sisters, Sylvia Mason, Merigomish; Martha Turner, Truro; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son, Vonnie; husband, Raymond; sisters, Laura Murdock, Rena Watson; brothers, Harold “Pete” Turner, James “Jimmie” Turner. In accordance with Lorna’s wishes, cremation has taken place, there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held in Murray’s Point Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made in her memory to Murray’s Point Cemetery Fund. Arrangements are entrusted to P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
