TRENTON – Dorothy Margaret “Dorey” Farrell, 85, Trenton, passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 4, 2020 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow surrounded by the love of her family. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Genesta Pellerine. Dorey was a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow and the former Christ the King Parish, Trenton. Dorie enjoyed knitting, shopping, going out for lunch with friends and spending time with her grandchildren. For Dorey, “Life has changed; not ended!” Surviving are her children, Janet Farrell, New Glasgow; Leonard “Lenny” (Angela) Farrell, New Glasgow; Kevin (Natasha) Farrell, Calgary, Alta.; Jeannie (Phillip) Cameron, New Glasgow; Dee (John) Royles, Hopewell; Cheryl Farrell (Marshall Williams), Thorburn; grandchildren, Donna, Jason, Ashley, Stephen, Glen, Jaden and Kyla; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Madison, Everleigh, Taylor and Bailey; sisters, Sophia (Kevin) Dean, South Surrey, B.C.; June Williamson, Walkerville; Bernadette (Jack) Osborne, Halifax; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her children, Walter, William and Bernadette. In honour of Dorie’s wishes, her family will honour her life privately.
