Obituary of Kevin Douglas Browning
NEW GLASGOW – Kevin Douglas Browning, 59, New Glasgow, passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, July 19, 2018 with his son, Nathan, by his side.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Sterling and Marion (Urquhart) Browning.
Kevin was a self-employed roofer all his life up until June of this year. When his mom operated a restaurant, he was always willing to lend a skillful hand and he always enjoyed BBQing for friends and family. Kevin enjoyed having a Keith’s with his friends at the Century Snooker club and fishing at his secret fishing spot at McGrath’s Mountain. He will be remembered for the “iconic fedora” he always wore.
Surviving are daughters, Candace, Lacey, Sarah and Billie-Jo; son, Nathan; grandchildren, Johnathan, Tatiana, Marley, David, Matthew, Haley and Donald; sisters, Cheryl and Heather; brothers, Rick and Wendell; many nieces and nephews; his four-legged fur babies, Misty Moon and Mia.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Robert.
In keeping with Kevin’s wishes, his life will be celebrated privately. Donations may be made in Kevin's memory to the East River Animal Hospital of New Glasgow to assist with vet care for Misty Moon.
