Obituary of Cecil Ernest Moser
BRIDGEVILLE – Cecil Ernest “Ernie” Moser, Bridgeville, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by his family.
Born in Pictou, he was a son of the late William Burton and Anne Caine (MacDonald) Moser. Ernie lived most of his life in Ontario where he owned and operated D & M Truck Lines for many years. He enjoyed trucking, a skill he always attributed to his brother, Geordie, who first employed him, teaching him how to operate trucks and forestry equipment. Ernie always stated that Geordie “taught him everything I know”. Moving back to Pictou County in the late 1980’s, he worked with his friend, Whitney Gay painting and restoring cars for several years before he became employed with Marinus Verhagen Enterprises Ltd, a job he enjoyed doing every day. Along with working, Ernie enjoyed spending time at his Garden of Eden cottage, playing Country-Western and Blue Grass Music while having a Bud Light. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend.
