NEW GLASGOW – John Robert “Jack” Fraser, 80, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Harold and Ann Fraser. Jack was a self-employed business man and had been chairperson of the Riverside Trust Company, New Glasgow for several years. Surviving are his brother, Wes (Eyleen) Fraser, Kitchener, Ont.; several nieces and nephews; many dear and close friends in Pictou County. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Evelyn MacLeod. A public graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, September 13th in Lorne Street Cemetery, New Glasgow with Rev.
