Obituary of Earl Frederick Crockett

THORBURN – Earl Frederick Crockett, 89, Thorburn, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.

Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late John W. and Frances (MacIntosh) Crockett. Earl was employed with the former Trenton Works for many years. He kept abreast of current events and enjoyed discussing politics and sports. Earl enjoyed spending time with his friends and was quick to help anyone in need.

Surviving are his sister, Frances Burt, Westville; sister-in-law, Carol Crockett, Sundridge, Ont.; many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Joan Addison; brothers, Jackie, Stead and Don; brothers-in-law, Ronald “Ron” Addison and Bill Burt.

A private service will be held.  

Earl’s family wish to thank the EHS paramedics and Aberdeen Hospital ER staff for the excellent care he received on Saturday.
