Obituary of Karen Anne Weston

NEW GLASGOW -   Karen Ann (Peckham) Weston, 72, New Glasgow, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 25, 2022 in the Aberdeen Hospital, ICU, New Glasgow.

 

Born in Elmfield on December 26, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Anna (Murray) Peckham.

 

Surviving are her children, Glen Weston, Tracey (Todd) Polley, April Weston and Shelley (Shaun) MacKenzie; beloved grandson, T. J. Weston; grandchildren, Taylor Weston, Tristen MacCabe, Destiny Sutton, Jessianna, Barrett Polley and Lacey Little; great-grandchildren, Isabel, Will, Brantley, Jayden and Emma; sisters, Audrey Sutherland and Sheila Peckham; several nieces and nephews.

 

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brother, Ralph Peckahm; daughter-in-law, Sharon Weston; brother-in-law, Ralph Sutherland.

 

A private family service will be held.

 

Donations may be made in Karen’s memory to the Pictou County SPCA or any charity of choice.

Life is but a stopping place,

A pause in what’s to be

A resting place along the road,

To sweet eternity.

We all have different journeys,

Different paths along the way,

We all were meant to learn some things,

But never meant to stay ….

Our destination is a place,

Far greater that we know.

For some the journey’s quicker,

For some the journey’s slow.

And when the journey finally ends,

We’ll claim a great reward,

And find an everlasting peace,
