Obituary of Cyril Daniel Frazee
Cyril Daniel Frazee, 64, Trenton, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 22, 2022, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late John Lloyd and Isabel Catherine (MacPherson) Frazee. In earlier years, Cyril was employed as a welder with the former Trenton Works. He was a member of the former Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Trenton. Cyril enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. He particularly enjoyed the Saturday Night Hoedown, country music radio program on CFCY. Cyril was a very social person, who loved being surrounded by family and friends. He possessed a deep faith in his Lord and now enjoys the promise made to him. For Cyril, “Life has changed; not ended!”
Surviving are his wife, Jane Patrice (Burns); daughter, Michelle (Ian) Stewart, Westville; sons, Jeffrey (Mary-Jean) Frazee, Westville; Kevin (Jill) Frazee, MacPherson’s Mills; grandsons, Nicholas, Lauchlan, Morgan, Brady, Carley, Lettie and Leah; sisters, Catherine Cameron, Trenton; Alice Guthro, Waynefleet, Ont.; Carol (Edward) Fortune, Green’s Point; Debbie (Philip) Burns, New Glasgow; brothers, Wayne (Ruth) Frazee, Green’s Point; many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by son, Daniel James; sisters, Jean Fulton, Barbara Haggerty and Bonnie in infancy; brothers-in-law, Vince Guthro and Cyril Cameron.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26 at 49 Albion Street, Trenton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 27 in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow with Father Thomas A. MacNeil presiding. Interment will be in Christ the King Cemetery, Trenton.
Cyril’s family wish to thank the EHS Parmedics, Trenton Fire Department, Dr. Tom Park, Aberdeen Hospital 4th floor and Palliative Care Unit staff, Pictou County Victorian Order of Nurses and Sobey’s Westside Pharmacy for their kindness and care.
Donations may be made in Cyril’s memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Canadian Red Cross.
The wearing of a mask is encouraged for those attending the service.
