Obituary of Brian Ervin Gammon

NEW GLASGOW – Brian Ervin Gammon, 71, New Glasgow, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow with his wife and daughter by his side.

Born in Antigonish, he was a son of Donald Gammon and the late Helen (Cameron) Gammon. Brian was a self-employed drywaller and carpenter, a career he thoroughly enjoyed. He was an avid fisherman and looked forward each year to going fishing with his buddies. Brian greatly enjoyed going to the camp and hunting with “the boys”.

Surviving besides his father, Donald, are his wife, Mary Alice (MacEachern) Gammon; daughters, Rhonda, Barbie and Suzanne; sons, Brian, Jeffery, Gustifer and Andrew; several grandchildren; sisters, Deborah, Sheila (Matt) and Lisa; brothers, Donald (Kim) and Wade (Lisa); several nieces and nephews.

Brian’s family wish to thank the Aberdeen Hospital Medicine and Emergency Departments staff and physicians for the excellent care he received.

In keeping with Brian’s wishes a private celebration of life will be held for family and friends.
