Obituary of Kimberly Corrine Webb
STELLARTON - It is with great sorrow and sadness as we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, nanny and friend, Kimberly Corrine “Kim” (Vermette) Webb on July 4, 2023.
Born on July 20, 1966, in Williams Lake, B.C. and raised in 100 Mile House, B.C, she was the youngest child of Mervin and Pauline (Shewchuk) Vermette. Kim met the father of her children, Dale, at the age of 17. After the birth of her first daughter, Kim and Dale moved to Nova Scotia, where she made Nova Scotia her home. Kim was the life of the party and was the glue that held her family together. She enjoyed yard sales, thrifting, and cooking big family dinners, especially on holidays. Kim loved singing karaoke, listening to music, road trips to Five Islands and having Summer beach days with an ice-cold Blue. Kim was a very hard worker and excelled at any job she did. She will be missed by her family, friends and fur babies, Trapper and Lily, Georgia, Callie and Finn, Fergie, and Fletcher. Kim’s children and grandchildren were her “pride and joy” - her greatest legacy.
Surviving are her children, Stacie (Danny), Dale Jr. (Kaylee) and Brittany (Branden); grandchildren, Nicole, Allison, Zoey, Gauge, and Wreylenn; longtime partner and friend, Harold “T-Bone” Ferguson; brothers, Kelly and Lyle; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Pauline and Mervin, she was predeceased by her brother, Adrian “Kookie”; sisters, Wendy and Myrna; nephew, Terry; father and mother-in-law, Floyd Sr. and Jessie (Fraser) Webb.
A Celebration of Kim’s Life will be held 2-4 p.m. Saturday, July 8 in the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 28, Stellarton.
Family flowers only. Donations may be made in Kim’s memory to the Pictou County SPCA.
