Reading Dean's obituary brought back very early memories for me. I remember Dean's Mother Evelyn teaching a Sunday/Bible School class in their home which I attended during the mid 1950's . I was probably about seven or so years old? Evelyn was such a lovely person. Dean would have been a very young teenager at the time.
His Uncle Harvey was there and I think it was Dean's Grandmother who was called Susie? So long ago now!
Dean of course being a typical young teenage boy was clowning around and tossing pillows from the couch , one of which hit a lamp knocking it off the table and crashing on the floor!
Isn't it funny how certain memories just stay with you? Of course the years pass and Dean, always a kind and generous soul whose presence you could never forget.
Condolences too you all,
Eric Arbuckle

Dear Julie, Jodi and Adam,
We are so sad over your fathers passing. We will certainly miss his presence in the campground. He always had a story about his past experiences and had a great sense of humor. Loved to see the twinkle in his eye when he would drop in at the building when events were going and smiling as he watched everyone in the campground having a good time.
We will miss him.
Hugs to you all during this difficult time.
Our deepest sympathy to you all and your families.
We are so sorry to hear about your dad passing we enjoyed his visits and had the utmost respect for him and we are so glad he accepted us into the campground we have so many cherished memories from Oceanfront and loved seeing his dream come to reality. He will be greatly missed by all.
