Lillian Mary (Cameron) Shaw

On Saturday, September 23, 2023, Lillian was called home by her Saviour and to be reunited with her beloved husband, Gary Shaw, where never a day went by without her missing him.

Lillian was born on January 12, 1951, a daughter of the late Allen Alexander and Annie Catherine (MacDonald) (O’Connor) Cameron.  

Lillian leaves behind her greatest accomplishments, her children, Tim (Leona) Wilson, Troy (Amanda) Wilson, Tyler (Melissa) Wilson, Dr. Crystal (Josh) Fox and her cherished grandchildren, Erica, Rebecca, Blake, Evan, Hannah, Scott, Sean, Connor, Brooklyn, Lily, Grayson and Shiloh.  She will be missed by her sisters, Rose Brightman, Ida (Dougie) MacIntyre, Faye (Reg) Visser-Booth; brother, Hughie (Barb) Cameron; sisters-in-law, Mae O’Connor, and Jean O’Connor; brother-in-law, Ralph Cyr; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gary Arthur Shaw; sisters, Louise MacKenzie, Kathleen Trefry and Molly Cyr; brothers, Charles, Cyril, Philip, and Jerry O’Connor.

As a refection of the love they shared, it was the wish of Lillan and Gary that their lives be celebrated together in the church they loved. Their family extends a warm invitation for you to join with them at 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 26 in Christian Fellowship Church, 489 Abercrombie Road, New Glasgow to share in this celebration.
