Obituary of Margaret Agnes Cohoon

Margaret Agnes “Aggie” Cohoon, 92, Ivey’s Terrace Nursing Home, Trenton, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023, with her daughter by her side.

Born in Trenton, she was a daughter of the late William Edward “Bill” and Margaret Mary “Marg” (Campbell) Cohoon.  Aggie was employed with the former K-Mart for many years, a job she greatly enjoyed.  She spent several years in Alberta where she was employed with the Salvation Army Thrift Shop and K-Mart. Aggie possessed an enduring faith in her Lord and looked forward to “going home”.

Surviving are her children, Linda Joyce (John) Virgin, Oshawa, Ont.; Leo “Tom” (Karen) Tomlinson, Kingston, Ont.; Lynda Tomlinson, Riverton; Gloria (Jim) Foley, Athabasca, Alta.; grandchildren, Tracy, Janelle, Shannon, Michael, Joanna, Rhonda, Amanda, Corey and Kaven; many great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ruth Cohoon, Moncton, N.B.;  numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Edwin “Coonie” Cohoon and grandson, Zachary in infancy.

In honour of Aggie’s wishes her family will celebrate her life privately.
