Obituary of Bradley John Edward Burge
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected tragic passing of Bradley John Edward Burge on December 23, 2023, in New Glasgow.
He was born in New Glasgow, on July 18, 1975, to parents, Edward, and Norma (Boyd) Burge. Bradley graduated from Saint John High School, he then moved to Ontario, then Halifax, then back to New Glasgow. He was always into computer science. He had spent some years as a manager in New Glasgow, until he had an accident which left him with a disability.
Bradley was an introvert. If he loved you, he loved you completely. His laughter and quick wit were contagious. To know him was to love him. He was taken far too soon and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Along with his parents, he is survived by sisters, Melinda (Mike); Kelly; nephews and nieces, Justin (Kysha), Michaela (Collin), Josh, Ben and Lauren; great-nephews, Noah and Sam; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Gilbert and Mary (Patterson) Burge and Lee and Helen Boyd; several uncles and aunts.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2023, in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
Donations may be made in Bradley’s memory to the Pictou County SPCA.
Lovingly submitted by family.
