Obituary of Frances Evelyn Fraser
Our beloved mother, Frances Evelyn Fraser, passed away on the morning of December 26, 2023, at Glen Haven Manor in New Glasgow.
She was born on May 4, 1933, in Caribou, Halifax County, she was a daughter of the late Esson MacMillian and Rita Huena (Redden) Fraser.
Our mom was strong and determined woman. She did things on her terms, right up to and including her death.
Left to mourn her are her children, Reginald (Faye) Booth, New Glasgow; Arlene Newby and Denise Baker, Truro; grandchildren, Jennifer Booth (Clarence Kelly), Nathan Crosby (Jenell), Jonathan Visser (Bethany), Melanie Visser (Mike), Charity Stillman (Jordan), Tammie Krick (Rod), David Newby (Melissa), Chris Newby (Kristie), Courtney Bruce, Audrey Baker and Wayde William Baker; 18 great-grandchildren; a great, great-grandchild; brother, Dennis (Mary) Fraser; sister, Janet (Al) Currie; sister-in-law, Pearl Hearn; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sisters Joan, Avis and Phyllis.
In honour of Mom’s wishes, we will celebrate her life privately.
We wish to thank the wonderful Glen Haven Manor staff for all the love and care they have given Mom over the past year.
