Obituary of Margaret Rose Joudrey
Margaret Rose “Peggy” Joudrey, 84, Ivey’s Terrace Nursing Home, Trenton, formerly of Stellarton and Riverton, passed away January 2, 2024, with her son by her side.
Born in New Glasgow, she was daughter of the late Allan Victor and Helen Jean (Kowalski) Terris. She possessed a “wicked sense of humour” and a quick wit. Peggy was a private person, who did not wish to “bother others”. However, she was the first person to offer help when needed.
Surviving are her sons, Leonard Joudrey, Calgary, Alta.; Allan Joudrey, Helena, Mont., U.S.; grandchildren, Alex, Ethan, Krista, and Nathan; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Olivia, Adelene, Quinn and Bowan; sisters, Phyllis (Carl) MacLean, Stellarton; Winnie (Stephen) Bell, Millstream; brother, Allan Terris, Riverton; sister-in-law, Cavelle MacKay, New Glasgow; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Joudrey; sisters, Jean Grant, and Alice Sexton; baby brother, Wayne Terris; sister-in-law, Brenda Terris; brothers-in-law, Donnie Sexton, and Laurie Bates.
In keeping with Peggy’s wishes, her life will be celebrated privately.
