Obituary of Sheila Laurali Livingstone
Sheila Laurali Livingstone, 82, a resident of Valley View Villa, Riverton, formerly of New Glasgow, passed away peacefully, Monday, January 29, 2024, in the Villa, surrounded by her children.
Born on May 18, 1941, she was the daughter of the late James and Olive (Geddes) Murphy. Sheila was a wonderful homemaker and mother, an avid reader and gardener. A woman of quiet faith, Sheila was a believer in Jesus, and was a born-again Christian. She is at peace now in the arms of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Sheila will be sadly missed by her loving children, Dana Buck, New Glasgow; Velda (Charlie) Patten, Greenville, Mich.; Edwina Livingstone (Sandy Kirkwood), New Glasgow; and Dave (Theresa) Livingstone, Mountville. Sheila’s beloved grandchildren, Anna, Chad, Mindy, Sandy, Ryan, Drew, Kaitlyn, Peter, and Megan, and great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Madison, Hudson, Noah, Nathan, Lincoln, and William; sister, Geneva “Jan” (Eddie) MacDonald, Alberta; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by sisters, Cynthia Ariganello and Darlene Watson.
In keeping with Sheila’s wishes, her family will honor her life in a private ceremony.
