Obituary of Arthur Murdock MacLean

NEW GLASGOW - Arthur Murdock (Arteo) MacLean, 80, New Glasgow, passed away peacefully, Sunday, April 7, 2024, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Collie Everett and May (Jordon) MacLean.  Arthur loved his boys and provided for their welfare and protection. His sons fondly remember his cooking and card playing skills. For Arthur, “Life has changed; not ended!”

Surviving are his sons, Dwight (Lisa), St. John, N.B.; Kurtes, Halifax; Darryl, New Glasgow; grandchildren, Jordyn, Tre, Dallas, Michael and Shanice; several great-grandchildren; sisters, June, Cora, Daisy, and Karen; brothers, Blake (Gordena) and Wilfred (Beryl).

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Dolly; son, Ricky; sisters, Darlene and Vivian.

In keeping with Arteo’s wishes, his family will celebrate his life privately.
