Mrs. Boardway is one of those exceptional educators who stay with you for your entire life. I had the pleasure of being in her primary class at A.G. Baillie 20-some years ago, and I frequently think of her, smiling in her classroom with a treasure trunk full of stickers. Mrs. Boardway taught me kindness, patience, compassion, and a love of books that I cherish today. I think I can speak for a lot of her students when I say that she has made a profound impact on so many lives and I am so very grateful for the short time I had the pleasure of being taught by her.
My condolences to her family.

Bob Boardway family's & Murray family's ,
I am so sorry to hear about Janet's passing. Me and Janet went Junior and Senior High school together. Then we ended up working at the same school the AG Baillie until I got injured and was pensioned off.
Janet had a smile on her that when you were down in the dumps or having a really bad day just Janet's smile would pick you up and make you smile. I love that about Janet.
We ran into each other a couple times in the grocery store and had a good old chat. She came to my sister Millie's wake just to make sure that I was okay, and of course she made me feel better after seeing her and having a little chat. Janet will be truly loved and missed. I know she has her Angel Wings as soon as she passed.
To Bob, Nicole, and Gregory and her daughter-in-law in the United States Nikki and their family's, Janet up there with Trevor in Heaven now and both of them are your Guardian Angels watching over you all.
May the Risen Lord comfort and strengthen you during this difficult time. Sending love and hugs to you all.

Janet was one of the nicest, most loving people I have ever known. In the 45 years that I knew her, I never heard her say an unkind word about anyone. She had that rare ability to see the good in everyone and to make the best of every situation. Countless children were enriched by being her students, and her friends and colleagues were so fortunate to have had the privilege of knowing her. In her quiet, generous way, she made the world a better place. Rest easy sweet girl.

Janet gave so much of herself, her kindness, her thoughtfulness and her intellect to all of us in the business of educating. Her inquiring mind and leadership did not stop at the classroom door, for she helped educate all lower elementary teachers in Chignecto Central through leading workshops and sharing insights into how students learned. Bob and family,Debbie and Allan: my sincerest condolences. Heaven has been blessed by the arrival of this angel. She will not be forgotten.
