I was so sorry to hear of Diane’s passing. I worked for Diane for many years when she was Chief Librarian at the Halifax City Regional Library. She was a leader in bringing progressive change to the library system, changes we now take for granted. She built a vibrant, well used and much loved library service that was a building block to the library system we have now. I always enjoyed working for her and learned so much in the early days of my career as a librarian.
