Dear Karen and Rob, I am so very sorry to hear about Julie's passing. Julie was always full of adventure and growing up with her was fun. I remember sorting potato eyes from the big bin in the garage, climbing trees on Edward Laurie and skiing! Julie was always up for a new adventure. One that comes to mind was a crazy ski trip we took on a March Break while at Acadia, travelling to Cape Smokey in an unpredictable Volvo through a terrible blizzard on the #7 (Eastern Shore to Antigonish). It took us two days to get there and had great skiing. No cell phones back then and I'm sure our parents didn't know half the story! We made the trip back to the valley in another car (piled into the back seat of some poor soul that took pity on us) because the Volvo didn't make the trip back home. Julie took adventures in stride. I hope that both of you and the entire family remember the stories and tell them often so her legacy brings comfort to you all in the years to come. Much love, Janet (Stevenson) Margeson

Julie was a gem of a person, what I remember the most upon meeting her was her genuine soul, there was no putting on airs, she was down to earth but at the same time a lady with real class, she was like a great pair of Levis, the "genuine article" - I took a few lessons from her, got to know her on a personal level. I am simply blessed to have known such a fine woman with a down to earth attitude topped by a huge heap of class and style! And your family and dear friends are better for having you in their life. Gone too soon and I will miss our chats Julie! I hope one day to see you again on the other side of that veil. Love Beth xo
