I was saddened to hear of Elaine's passing. We both were hired the same day by the school board and did our driver tests together. When my father passed away she came to the funeral home. My heart goes out to Gerard and family.

Sending heartfelt condolences to Gerard, Christa, Dawn and family. Elaine was always the same: gentle, kind and wise with everyone she met. I knew her when I was a Primary/Grade One teacher at FH MacDonald Elementary. Elaine was Christa’s mom and a great bus driver. That would have been the mid-1980s. We always spoke when meeting randomly over the years. Elaine was someone I was blessed to know.

So very sorry to learn of Elaine’s passing. I worked at Trenton high school and loved to see Elaine come into the office. She was always smiling. I enjoyed our little chats. She shared a couple favourite recipes with me. I treasure my memories of this dear lady. Sincerest condolences to her family.
