Such a wonderful, funny and caring lady! So sorry for all of the family that the goodbye seems to happen so quickly but thankfully, the special memories, stories and lessons continue on. I have been thinking of you all so much over these past days. Love the Murrays Point tribute plan....Joan contributed so much to comfort others in life and the families of so many who had passed on. She will not be forgotten.

My sincer condolences to the family of this wonderful warm & loving lady. I have known Joan since our school days. I have loved her ever since . She was always the same. For years when I would come home,we would talk of getting together but. Unfortunately we thought we had plenty time. Don't delay to tell people how you feel about them, you don't know when it will be too late. I wish I had not run out time. I am so sorry. Edith

Family of Joan Murray Our sincere condolences is sent to you on the passing of Joan. I (Bob) fondly remember my visits with Joan and Lyall when they discussed with me their well managed cranberry operation. They provided detailed information of the development of their cranberry operation known as Turkey Brand Cranberries in 1900, now recorded in Nova Scotia Cranberry History 1872-2000. Joan provides many pleasant memories to those who remember her. With God's Blessing, Bob & Pat Murray Truro

Having not visited Nova Scotia as much as an adult as when I was younger means my memories of my cousin Joan are from a less recent time. I remember her seeming to always be smiling and so the photo shown is entirely appropriate. We always miss those who have touched our lives.

Look down on us from heaven Keep us free from hurt and pain, You'll always be within my heart Until we meet again..........................................My Friend I will miss you forever and Always

My condolences to Helen, Wallace & Donald Peter & their families. I have many fond memories of going to Merigomish & spending time with Joan. Her passion for helping other people will be legendary. Joan helped care for my Dad (Ken Mellish) when he got sick & was a major shoulder of support when Mom (Maude Mellish) passed away. It will be hard to travel to Merigomish & not drop in for a visit. You will be missed very much!
