I was a client of Clay at Bioped. I just found out today that he has passed away. I have been looking to get Orthotics and i recalled great services provided by Clay. Clay was very kind, helpful and understanding. I shall remain grateful to him. I had hared with him that I had no insurance and he gave me a discount for the Orthotics. His after services were great too and he guided me on email as i was away and having some difficulty with the Orthotics. That is the reason why i was looking up his contact through my old emails so i could reach out to him again for Orthotics. I am sad to know about his demise and i extend my condolence to his family. Clay Baker was a great man and i am sure he lived a great life! I pray to God to bless his soul with eternal peace. Aameen!

I am just now hearing about the loss of Clay Baker. My family met him in Mississauga when he worked for Bioped. He and I shared the Nova Scotia connection, having both been born there. Clay was instrumental in keeping my feet from having pain and for that I will be forever in his debt. He made my custom orthotics for 15 years and I can honestly say that no one has been able to make them like he did. I moved back to Nova Scotia in the summer of 2014. Last week my son visited the Bioped in Bedford, NS and he was told then that Clay had passed. When he informed me of this, I cried. I had totally planned on visiting him in Mississauga again after the Covid danger was over. I remember vividly him talking about NS and his growing up and how much he loved his daughters. His dream was to move back after he retired. I am so happy he was able to go back, just not under these circumstances. I am glad he was surrounded by family and friends in his deep hours of need. Rest in peace Clay and my empathy goes out to all of you who loved him. He was a great guy and our family will miss him. xoxoxoxxo

For Clay's Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I had the honor of working with Clay at Bioped for my first job in the field of Pedorthics. I will forever be grateful for his kindness, patience and knowledge he shared with me. He was a genuinely great man and I looked forward to seeing him at the symposiums each year after. He will truly be missed.

Dear Gloria and Kathy, so glad Clay was able to come home and you will have the consolation that you were able to care for him. From all we hear, he was a wonderful boy in his youth and a wonderful man in adulthood. He certainly had the Baker look, Handsome! Our kindest thoughts and sympathies are with you at this sad time. If we had an address, I would like to make a sympathy card and send it to you, both. If you wish to send one, you can email it to us at the above address. Sincerely, Peter and Bonnie ( Burns) Cameron

So sorry to hear this. I remember when Clay was born. It was the night of Jack’s stag party when Sonny had to be called home because Gloria was in labor. He and our son Daryl share the same birth date, just different years.

Gloria and family, Dorothy and I have fond memories of Clay. Specially in his younger years when our families spent a lot of time together, weather it was camping or just spending time in Fall River. Dorothy was just recalling his first day at school when the two of you, Clay and Georgie road the bus to school. Our deepest sympathizes to you, Kathy and his children at losing him at such a young age. Love George and Dorothy

Growing up with Clay we had a lot of fun, and disagreements, however good friends always let it go and carried on being friends. Played a lot of darts together and had more that a few beers. Did a lot of hockey talk those years too. Sincerest condolences to all Clay's family.
