To Linea and all of the Kirk/MacDonald family, Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of Louise. I met her last spring when she and my Mother were roommates for a short time on the 4th floor. She was a lovely lady who appreciated her family and the kindnesses she was shown by so many. May you find comfort in memories and the fact that she knew how truly fortunate she was to have you all around her.

I am so sorry for the loss. Death is without a doubt a very cruel enemy that attacks us all equally. I am sending you this message because I would like to share with you some comforting ideas that the Bible is teaching us. We know that there are few things that cause as much stress and pain as the death of a spouse or a parent or sibling. That is why we can say that death is an enemy. The human race has many other common enemies, such as sickness and old age, which likewise cause much suffering. God promises to vanquish them all, finally passing sentence on mankind’s greatest foe. “As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing.” —1 Corinthians 15:26. Knowing that our deceased loved ones in God’s memory are asleep in death and awaiting a resurrection can give us solace and kindle our desire to carry on with life. Yes, we can confidently look to the future when Jehovah God, the Giver of life, will bury death forever. What a blessing it will be when we can rightly ask: “Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?” —1 Corinthians 15:55. How encouraging these words are. I hope this message will give you a little bit of comfort. Please , visit our website JW.ORG/en for more information that the Bible offers. This is my email Cameliainmexic@outlook.com. If you have any questions or if you need to talk about it please write to me. My sincere condolences, Camelia
