My heart is so very sad to learn of the passing of a former supervisor and a great friend from Ocean Choice. To know him was to love him, his smile and laugh was infectious. I learned so much from him in my time at OCI and I am so very glad our paths crossed in this lifetime. You will most certainly be missed by many ♥️ I hope you knew the impact you made on so many, rest easy George. My deepest condolences to Marie and the family. ❤️❤️

Sending my sympathy to George's family and friends. I had the privilege of working with George in Souris and Beach Point. He was a man with a wealth of knowledge in the seafood business, and didn't mind sharing it with you. He will be missed.

Marie and family, so very sorry to hear of George's passing. He was a very special person, I worked with him here in PEI in Beach Point and also in Souris. He sure could make you laugh, he knew how to spread joy and make a workday more pleasant. Bob and I considered George a great friend, although we haven't seen him in the past few years. We remember the year he got a new spotlight and was sure if he shone it from his shore in NS we would be able to see it in Guernsey Cove, PEI. He called us on the phone and said "Can you see me now" sure enough there he was. He will be missed. Our deepest condolences.

What a shock to hear of George's passing. I worked with George at the factory for a summer as a student and will always remember the first day of work when he laid down on the cement floor and got some of the guys to lift a huge rock onto his chest. Then he got someone to use the sledge hammer to crack it in half. REALLY. He was an incredibly skilled manager admired far and wide for his work ethic, friendly manner and being able to fix just about anything. May the Lord be merciful to him.

To say that George will be missed is certainly an understatement. I had the privilege of knowing George since I was a teenager. He and my mother worked alongside each other for many years and she just adored him. One of the most accommodating, gentle, friendly people who always had a smile and a handshake for anyone, whether he knew you for years, or had just met you. Definitely a " get the job done " individual who did everything with a determination and a sense of humor. A terrible loss for all. My and Judy's thoughts are with his family, and the community. Sincerest condolences !!!!
