Obituary of Milford Austin Jack
RIVERTON – Milford Austin “Buster” Jack, 79, Riverton, passed away Friday, May 13, 2011 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by family.
Born in Country Harbour, he was a son of the late Perce Gay and Cora Edna “Dolly” (Hudson) Jack, and step-father, Wallace Jack. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a forestry machine operator. Buster enjoyed auto mechanics, wood working and horses. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Beatrice Louise (Brown); daughters, Donna Jack, Eureka; Linda (Jim) Chambers, Plymouth; son, Rev. Hugh Jack, Lethbridge, Alta.; grandchildren, Lindsay (David) and Ryan (Megan); sisters, Carol, Colleen, Evelyn, Glenda, Jackie, Joan, Louella, Maxine and Peg; brothers, Bobby, Bryce, Ronnie, Shane, Tex and Whitney; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sisters, Judy, Phyllis and Vivian; brother, Sheldon.
The family will receive visitors 1-1:50 p.m. Tuesday, May 17th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. with Rev. Hugh Jack officiating. Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
