I am so saddened to hear the terrible news about my "uncle Donnie". He was very special to me , as is Angus. Angus was the Angel that I think Donnie had always been waiting for. They were the answer to each others prayers . God, please give Angus the strength to carry on and some day ... find Love again . Love you forever Donnie , Gail Wilson

Watson and Ardith I always enjoyed meeting Donnie in a store or on the street because we always enjoyed a laugh or two. I will miss those moments. Our thoughts are with you all during this time of loss.

Celia and I are very saddened to hear this news. While it has been many years since we lived in Scotsburn we have very pleasant memories of our friendship at that time with Donnie and others around him. We worked with him in the Boy Scout movement. We went to the same Church. And we talked gardening. I still refer to Donald when talking to current gardening friends who are only now experimenting with things like sweet potatoes, peanuts and horse radish. Donald did it years and years ago. We never met Angus and we regret that. Celia and I offer our thoughts and our condolences to all of Donnie's family and friends.

Angus, and all of Don's beloved friends and family, you are very much in my heart this week. I'm thinking of the visit we had in 2012, and your wonderful gift of wild strawberry jam - such a delight in the midst of sorrow. May you be blessed with similar gifts at this time - comfort, love, deep peace, and strength.

Deepest sympathy to you all. Cousin of Jessie and John. I knew Don "Donny" when he lived in Montreal and visited his sister when they lived in Calgary.
