So thankful to inherit most of George's books on soul winning and following Jesus. They are a blessing to me and I hope that they will bare much fruit and be a part of this George's legacy! I always wanted such books for my children-- what precious books.

what can one say at a time like this, except a real sense of loss...But Gods timing is perfect. George was passionate for the Lord. He would not want us to grieve for him as he is right where is wants to be. No one wants to lose some one we love but that is so human and so impossible to keep...so rejoice in Georges life as I know he would want you to do. I thank God for the gift he gave me of knowing George for 39 yrs. I will miss beyond measure our lengthy phone conversations. From my family to yours Jamie Patrick and Gordie .

Mes très sincères condoléances to the family of George Douglas Spaulding. George was a student at our summer French immersion school on a few occasions and it was always a pleasure to welcome him to our campus. He always had a smile on his face and a pleasant personality. For the language skill that we offered him we were always paid in full with the positive attitude of a model student that he demonstrated in the presence our younger students. Merci, George... Repose en Paix, Monsieur. Jean-Douglas Comeau Université Sainte-Anne

We first met George many years ago at the beginning of Maranatha Bible Church when we lived in New Glasgow and were part of the Maranatha/Monroe Ave. family along with George. He has been a faithful servant and although we haven’t had much personal contact with George since we moved to Moncton 32 years ago, we have still kept in touch through Facebook. He will be singing with the Heavenly choir now.

We were sorry to hear of George's passing. I met George a few times while I was dropping off carloads of items for the Community Cupboard at the Munroe Avenue Baptist Church last year before they closed. He was always so friendly and nice in not only helping me take items inside the church, but also coming over when I called him to open the place up for me! He seemed like a very kind man and I know those of you who knew him well will miss him dearly. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. <3

Very sorry to hear of your loss. I met George when I was 11 years old. My mom rented an apartment from him in Rabbittown. My most memorable momemt is probably the condom incident.... my friend and I acquired a box of condoms and thought it would be funny to fill them with water and throw them out the window. George found the broken pieces all over the driveway and thought he better have a talk with mom about his findings. He suggested she might have the "sex" talk with me as he thought I was using them for the purpose they are intended for. George was always looking out for the people in his life no matter how awkward the situation was. God bless. You will always be remembered.

George was always a happy site to see when he came through the doors to attend his Taoist Tai Chi classes in New Glasgow. George had the honour of being our oldest and most highly respected participant. We were always delighted when George shared stories of his family about the movies and pizza nights. Our hearts are heavier with the lost of our dear friend. We extend our condolences to the family.

George was one of the first people we met when we moved to New Glasgow 19 years ago. And even back then, George was ready to preach, pray or die--always ready with a Bible, verse, a kind word, and a song on his Martin Guitar. George was one of the really special people who had a kind word for everyone, and had a heart for the Lord and a passion to make sure he always shared the gospel. George holds a specal place in our hearts--he made us welcome, he made us famliy, and he supported us through those 19 years. He will be missed, but we know that he is exactly where he wants to be...we can only imagine, but George is standing today in the presence of his Saviour.

So sorry to hear of George's passing.I met all of the family as a child living in Linacy and actually babysat the children for Ella and George. He is now re-united with Pat & Rita whom he loved dearly. He was a faithful servant of God who was dedicated to service and came many times to the nursing homes with our family ( Howard Green), then went on to continue serving the homes himself afterwards. Well done thou good and faithful servant. <3

George was one of the first people that we met when we came to Munroe Avenue Baptist Church. Like he did with many others he gave us a warm welcome. When we were operating the Community Cupboard we relied on him for so many things, and he never complained, but joyfully served. We have many good memories and will miss him terribly. He is another one of God's singers who has gone home, happy to be with Jesus. See you soon brother, we expect you to be one of our welcoming committee when it is our turn.

Praying for you all! George will be missed! Grateful always for his prayers for me and especially the ways he encouraged and blessed my family and my parents as his pastor. He had a memory for Scripture and heart that wanted to live it just as much as he quoted it. He wasn’t perfect, but He loved Jesus...and that rubbed off on ya. He’s singing to Jesus face to face now!
