Michelle and I went camping about 12 years ago with Kim and Mike. On a grey Saturday afternoon as we were sitting around the campsite, Kim noticed a caterpillar crawling up my pant leg. I brushed it off and thought nothing of it. About a half hour later, I noticed a caterpillar on my leg again. We giggled a bit and thought it was weird. I removed the bug but this time placed halfway across the campsite to see what would happen. We kept an eye on it, and sure enough, it eventually made it all the way back to my shoe. We laughed in amazement. Kim was just fascinated by the actions of this tiny creature. So, once again I proceeded to remove the caterpillar and attempt to repeat the experiment one more time. Sure enough, that caterpillar found its way back to me and crawled up my shoe yet again. We all laughed in amazement. That day, I got to share in Kim's fascination and enthusiasm for the small things in life. Thanks, Kimmie.

Sterling and I have such wonderful memories of all the parties we attended with Kim and the many laughs and good times we shared. She was one of the most loving, caring, forgiving people I have ever met and will be forever fondly remembered. Wish I could be there for the service but I catch a flight early Monday morning, however my thoughts and prayers will be with you.

This is so sad. Kim was one of the most kind, generous and thoughtful person I had the privilege to work with. She could always put a smile on your face. I also got to know Jenna when she was a summer student. Jenna, you have a lot of your mom's qualities. They are very special ones. My condolences to you and your family. Thoughts and prayers

Sorry to hear of Kim’s passing. I remember Kim when I was a summer student at Michelin Tire. She was so kind to me, we had many wonderful talks there. I still remember the little room she had made her own there where she’d go to read when she was on break. She was a wonderful person and so, so kind and helpful to me those summers I worked there.
