This message is for Mary's partner Betty Lou and the Mason family. I hung out with Mary as a kid and loved walking with her on her paper route. She was always invited to my birthday parties. I lived most of my life married in Halifax. My maiden name was Pretty. Most of our family is gone now but remember the good days in Trenton. My sincere condolences to allow those who loved her. Betty Lou, family and friends, It was with saddness I read of Mary, know how much she will be missed by so many. She was a 'rock', a steady, caring and fun loving woman, who was clear about her loves in life and dedication to the people she cared about. My memories of the many trips we took together to Halifax for acupuncture are a source of joy thinking about both of you. Mary always drove, her steady and aware hand at the wheel, taking us safely from place to place while joining in the fun of the conversation. With apologies for not being able to attend her celebration of life. I was there in spirit and wanted you to know it would have been both a joyous event tinged with saddness to attend. We want to pass along our condolences to Marys family. She had a great sense of humour and was often found playing pranks in school. On more than one occasion I found my butt on the floor because my chair would suddenly disappear and she could do it with a straight face. She will be missed by many. Cheers till we meet again friend
