I only met Brandon a few times as he was a friend of my uncle Danny Hopkins. I remember the last time I seen him was here on PEI. We all were sitting around the camp fire chatting. I enjoyed listening to Brandon’s plans and dreams for his future and about his dogs. He was an amazing guy and he touched everyone’s heart he met. He will be missed. May you Rest In Peace Brandon. They say the good die young, I truely believe that. You had the biggest caring, loving heart of anyone I have ever known. You also had the best sense of humour of anyone I know. We sure shared alot of memories that I will forever hold dear to my heart. You were able to put so many smiles on so many faces. The best was when you put a smile on my little girls face the last time I saw you. Thanks for all the times we shared together. I love you brother. Rest in paradise.

My heart breaks over this, I can’t imagine what his family is going through. He always spoke so fondly of his family, and spoke of them often. And loved his dogs Abby and Jayda very much. He had a very big heart, enjoyed cooking, learning to grow his own vegetables(to which I’ve been a Guinea pig of, lol), fixing cars(he’s helped me a few times), and most of all helping others even when he had his own stuff going on. Brandon is a hard person to describe, cause he fits a lot of different categories on many fronts. But simply put Brandon was a really great guy and former neighbour/work colleague/ and most of all friend of mine, he will surely be missed by all who knew him.

I had the pleasure of meeting Brandon through work during a students placement. He was so kind and caring, full of patience. I later found out we were neighbours and loved bumping into him at the store or while out for a walk. I will miss his smile and genuineness. My sympathies to his family.

To all of Brandon's family, I am truly saddened for your loss. I worked with Brandon in Barrington Passage and in Yarmouth. I was fortunate to have spent a lot of time with him over the past few years, having conversations about the business but also about family, dogs and cars. He often spoke to me about his family and was a very proud uncle. His dogs were special to him too and we would share stories about our dogs and he would tell me about his love of fixed up cars and whatever his latest project was. I will certainly miss having these discussions with him. I cannot image the pain you're feeling but I want you to know Brandon was a big part of our Sobeys family here in Yarmouth and we all mourn here with you. He will be forever in our hearts. I hope you all find comfort in knowing much he meant to us at Sobeys. Take good care. My deepest sympathies, Colin.

There is no words to tell you how shocked and saddened to hear about a Brandon. I worked with Brandon at Sobeys 612 Yarmouth. I used to tease him and say Brandon, do you spell your name at the end Don or Den. He would laugh, and when we made a bale he would always sign the bale of cardboard Brandon. I said Brandon I will never forget how to spell the last part of your name because I will just think of Donkey. Well we both took to laughing. It was a joke between us. He even brought into the back shop his white dog to show me. He told me more stories about his dog and you sure could tell how much he loved his dogs. I can’t imagine losing my son, but I want you to know that you have to take a day at a time and remember all the joys and memories you can of Brandon. Brandon you will be missed
