Obituary of Brandon Robert Nippard
WEDGEPORT – Brandon Robert Nippard, 26, Wedgeport, formerly of Shelburne, Bridgewater, New Glasgow and Newfoundland, passed away Monday, September 14, 2020 as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
Born in St. John’s, N.L., he was a son of Kimberley Ann Nippard, New Glasgow and Jeffrey Robert Curiston, Saskatchewan. Brandon was a manager with Sobeys, Yarmouth. He enjoyed fixing cars, growing his own vegetables, cooking and playing PlayStation online with his brothers. Brandon was a “country boy” and was affectionately called “Big Country” by his family and friends. He loved wearing plaid shirts and jackets. Brandon possessed “the kindest heart”, was protective of the weak and shared a wonderful relationship with his mother. He shared his home and life with his two special canine friends, Jayda and Abby. Brandon was “a giant teddy bear”, who leaves a legacy of love, caring and tenderness.
Surviving besides his parents, Kim and Jeff are brothers, Justin (Ellen), Westville; Dylin (Kelly) and Ryan, North Battleford, Sask.; maternal grandfather, Llewellyn Nippard, New Brunswick; paternal grandparents, Robert and Erica Curiston; niece, Maeby; nephews, Wolfgang and Jaxon; uncle, Rocky (Jackie), many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by maternal grandmother, Nellie Nippard.
Brandon’s family will celebrate his life privately.
