Obituary of Clyde Richard Moulton

NEW GLASGOW – Clyde Richard Moulton, 76, New Glasgow passed away Wednesday July 15, 2020 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow with his daughter by his side. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Amos Clyde and Louise (Hobin) Moulton. Clyde served in the Royal Canadian Navy as a signalman for 12 years. Following, he was a bus driver with Metro Transit, Halifax and financial secretary of the union for 16 years. Prior to retirement, Clyde served as caretaker at Scotian Glen Camp, Sutherlands River for 18 years. A position he cherished and considered his ministry, which, permitted him to positively impact many lives. He enjoyed woodworking and tinkering around his shop. Clyde was a faithful soldier in the Salvation Army since the 1980’s, where served in many capacities. He possessed a deep faith in his Lord, which for his family and friends gives great comfort. “Life has changed; not ended!” Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Jean (Banfield); son, Cecil Moulton, Lower Sackville; daughter, Sheri Moulton (Roger), New Glasgow; grandchildren, Zachary, Alicia, Matthew, Brandi, Brennan and Jeremy; great-grandchildren, Lexi, L.J. and Grayson; nieces, Melanie (Rick) and Amy; nephews, Gregg (Julie) and Nathan; sisters-in-law, Donna (Dave) Watts, Halifax; Fran Moulton, Centre Burlington; “like children”, Kevin and Barb Cameron, Pine Tree and their children, Cory and Kelsey. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Lionel Moulton. Clyde’s life will be celebrated privately by his family.
