To the Weeks family, I worked with Bill at G.R.Saunders where we teachers always had some little job needing attention. Bill was very approachable and got "right on it".@gmail.com, I can recall several specific problems I talked to Bill about at the end of a day, only to arrive the next morning to find the problem solved! I so appreciated his help, and our chats as he went about his custodial duties in my class. Bill always had a story to tell or a point of view to share! I extend my condolences to you, his family.

The Weeks Family - I write to express to you and your family the sincere condolences of the Patricias on the passing of Bill Weeks. I did not know Bill, but anyone who joined in 1953 was trying to get to Korea, and his service then and later with The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment of Canada) was, I hope, a good start in life for him. Canada and the Regiment remember Bill's nine years of service, and you and your family should be proud of that service. His name will be read in this year’s list of the lost when we read that list out this November in the Scared Space in Beechwood, the National Military Cemetery, Ottawa. His name will also be listed in the 2020 edition of the Patrician’s Last Post section. Thank you for obviously supporting Bill throughout his long life after service. We are glad that he had a vibrant family and, we hope, a good life after the army, as well as some good stories to tell. We hope you and your family can remember Bill fondly as a soldier as well as a husband, brother, father, grandfather. Thank you all.
