Dot, Kim, Ronnie and family, We heard of Frank's death on the weekend, at where else, but hockey. Please know we are saddened at the news and you are all in our thoughts. I saw Frank in Coxheath 2 weeks ago at the tournament doing what he loved best...watching hockey and picking on everyone! He was the most loyal hockey grandfather and we always remarked at how much he loved the games and gave each player praise and encouragement (and sometimes tortured them as well!). Evan, Landon sends along his thoughts to you. He often mentioned he wished his grandfather in Newfoundland could watch his games like Frank watched yours...he knew how proud you were to have him with you. To you all, our most sincere sympathies. Anne, John, Mark & Landon Trickett

On behalf of the Bance's, we would like to offer our condolences to Dot and the rest of the MacDonald family. Frank was a good man and proud grandfather. Our hockey trips to Pictou Co. and various tournaments will not be the same without Frank's friendly greeting and hockey advice. God Bless

I am so sorry to hear about Frank. I met him many years ago through Metro and he always loved to talk about his family, especially his grandchildren. Everyone knew how the boys were doing in hockey, where they were playing and which rink he would be spending his weekend in. He was a sweet man and I'll miss him.
