Uncle Dave was a lovely man. I spent a lot of time with him at Sadie and Eric’ Langley’s home in Cape Breton. I remember them playing cards, games and telling stories around the table. Those were great times. It was a pleasure to know you.

Sorry to hear of Uncle Davie passing. He was a good guy to be around and spend time with. He was always helpful when dad was working on stuff and helped me when I was building my house. Great sense of humor. He'll be greatly missed. RIP UNCLE DAVIE

Very sad news to hear of Uncle Davie’s passing. My condolences to all the family. Uncle Davie spent a great deal of time with my family .. every Christmas I can remember he was there opening presents with Mom, Dad , Debbie, Stewart and I. Uncle Davie had a FANTASTIC sense of humour! He would come up with some hilarious comments that would crack everyone up! He and my Dad Eric had a very close friendship .. working on things around the house..etc. They even made a few trips to Ontario to offer their building skills on Stewart’s house and built some shelves at my house. Uncle Davie was always in a good mood .. he brought joy to any gathering. I will always remember his Trivial Pursuit talent !! We used to fight over who would have him on their team ! He knew his sports trivia! Amazed us all. I’ll always remember uncle Davie fondly with a smile in my heart. Rest peacefully Uncle Davie
