Grandad, thank you for being such a strong role model to me. It fills Amy, Deanna, Megan and I with great sadness that we can't be there to give you your send off, or support the rest of the family through this time. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of your visits with Nanny, and vice versa visiting you in your beautiful home in Pictou. I remember when the whole family.. Chris, Rachael & Jane visited us with you both and inviting you out for 'Chips', & the look on your faces thinking we invited you out to eat potato chips (we meant fries). We might not have been able to all meet up as regularly as we would have liked, but it made the moments we did all have together that extra bit special. You will be greatly missed by many you wonderful man! x
